In her very informative techniques page, she describes the process- she apparently uses a “ProMetal” by ExtrudeHone.She also does proteins etched in crystal with lasers, which you usually see applied to cheesy trinkets at tourist traps- here instead of mickey mouse floating in a crystal cube, you get a 3D model of hemoglobin.
