Just saw Return of the King, and boy is it good. I need to see it again.
Know what I remember though? The previews before the movie! They were all movies being released next summer.
- I was sure the Ashton Kutcher movie, The Butterfly Effect (a “turn back time” movie) was a PKD story; it’s really messed up. It’s a writer/director team- their first directed film.
- Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is filled with 1930s awesomeness, complete with giant killer robots and zepplins and men from Mars
- Even before Tobey suits up and becomes Spiderman, you can recognise Doctor Octopus, who looks exactly as he should
- The villains in the Vin Diesel movie look like they are from WH40K. Space goths! The movie is a sequel to Pitch Black– I hope it doesn’t suck, because the visuals are really stunning
