A trend among suburban youth funnier than “Ahnulding”- pop a bunch of cold medicine pills containing “dextromethorphan” and chase with alcohol. It’s called “skittling” and it makes you high for cheap. Ah, who needs a liver anyway!

You damn kids are so spoiled. In my day we just had “robotripping”- drinking Robotussin until you got high. Or “huffing” (inhaling paint fumes)- spray into a paper bag and inhale.

  1. We called it “rowboating”. err, I mean my peers called it rowboating.

    I remember when I was in grade school the school would invite a vice cop to warn of the perils of illicit drug use and this guy would scare us with such bullshit like “huffing will make your heart explode”.

    I dont know why they tried to pull that crap when all they had to do was tell the really scary truth like “your liver will eventually fail”.

    No, it isn’t. Coricidin Cough and Cold has as an active ingredient besides DXM the anticholinergic chlorpheniramine maleate. Coricidin is more like washing down a handlful of Dramamine with Robo Max cough syrup. This is MUCH more dangerous. For details:

  8. I tried robotripping.. it isn’t as fun as people say. I was misrable. I thought I was gonna die. I wouldn’t try it if I was u. Go get high off of pot or sumthing

  9. I have never tried robotripping, but i will prolly try it. I have “skittled” a ton of times. Its awesome i love it jus be careful, dont over do it, jus take like 6-8 cause n e more will make you freak, i took 16 once and almost had a heart attack.

  12. i robotrip all the time…i used to do 4 oz bottles of max strength cvs brand robitussin…now i do 8 ozs…8 ozs is a whole new level…its so much better then 4…my friend did 12 ozs once but he threw up everywhere….im gonna stick to 8 ozs for now…so much fun tho…u should do it

  13. My boyfriend and his best friend were taking mega doses of Coricidin on and off for almost 2 years. They were both addicted. Both of them ended up in the hospital one night. My boyfriend almost died from it, and he is in a drug rehab program. This stuff is nothing to play with. He is only 21 years old, and almost lost his entire life because he thought he could control it. Not only is the addiction really hard for him to stop……but he has some brain damage…….and he lost a ton of money because he failed like a whole year of college. He also has a permanent huge cigarette burn on his arm that won’t ever go away because he was tripping. I’m telling this story so maybe some of you realize that you might love a drug, but eventually the drug won’t love you.
